Join us for the 4th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Main Street .1K presented by Showbiz Dog Resort, Q106.7 and Friends of Downtown!
This is the (non) endurance race you have been waiting for! Enjoy a flat, fast course on historic Main Street in Downtown Lafayette!
The race will be chip timed and include a commemorative tech shirt, custom event medal, a free beer and a ton of fun! Proceeds from the event will benefit the our animals at the Almost Home Humane Society.

Pet Supplies Plus Adoption Event - Saturday, April 12th, 2025
AHHS will be at Pet Supplies Plus with adoptable animals ready to head home! We will be located by the small animals, with space in the back for meet and greets.
We have a litter of lab mixed puppies looking for their forever homes this weekend!
Please bring any dogs from home to meet potential new pets onsite so we can send you home same day! We can't wait to see you!

What better way to start the week than with yoga and puppies! Be Moved Power Yoga is hosting an exciting experience in partnership with AHHS and we can't wait!

Kitties and Cake- Saturday, May 10th 2025
Two great things, together at last!
Almost Home Humane Society is partnering with the West Lafayette Library to provide a day of fun!
We will be bringing adoptable cats and the West Lafayette Library will provide the cake. You’ll socialize pets, craft kitty blankets, and have a perfect afternoon!
Donations of dog and cat treats for the shelter will be accepted.
This event is created for adults and older teens as an opportunity for relaxation, education, and community. Please see our Children’s Department for activities planned with children and families in mind.
